Back in the USA
Hello everyone,
Just a quick post to let you know I'm still alive. In fact I'm back in Petersham until the 28th.
On my way here I had some exciting hours in Chicago's O'Hare that forced me to have to find a place to sleep for the night in Illinois. Fortunately Ansel & Shuli live there and they generously took me in and gave me a brief tour of the windy city. It was much nicer than I had expected. They seem quite taken with the place. Then I tried my luck a second time at the airport. I wasn't in time for Marc's wedding rehersal in Akron, but was in time for the ceremony itself, which was fun and very organized.
Then I made a quick trip to my grandmother's in NJ before winding up back here at my parents' place. My Jeep is in a bad way, but I'm going to do my best to bring it back to life before I am due back at work in Tokyo. At least my bicycle still works.
