Thanks to the laid back hours at my new job as a network/systems administrator at the International School of the Sacred Heart I've got time to blog again. More importantly things have settled down in several parts of my life, letting me relax a bit and try and rebuild my connections as well as my online presence. Stay tuned!

how goes the new job so far? are you speaking mainly japanese with the teachers? are your projects challenging and intriguing?

Hey Marc- thanks for continuing to check out my blog despite the long lapses in posts.
The teachers are mostly foreigners and they seem not to speak much Japanese in general. The office staff are almost all bi-lingual Japanese but I try and speak Japanese with them. This is easiest with my boss, the business manager, who has come most recently from a regular Japanese office. He is spearheading a project to streamline the hot lunch ordering program which promises to be interesting.
